Hi! I am Samantha Sommer, LEP #4523
I am a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) and I work with youth, teens, and young adults with a focus on navigating school and/or work challenges. With a background in working with neurodiverse individuals, I combine my knowledge as a school psychologist and decade of experience working within the school system to empower others to be their truest selves while breaking down any barriers to their potential.
What is a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP)?
A Licensed Educational Psychologist is a school psychologist licensed for independent practice by the Board of Behavioral Sciences. Their scope of practice includes the diagnosis of psychological disorders related to academic learning processes, administration and interpretation of diagnostic tests, psychological counseling for individuals, groups, and families, educational consultation to educators and parents, psychoeducational assessments for the purpose of identifying special needs, and development of treatment programs and strategies to address problems of adjustment
